Kitchen Renovation, Rushton, Northamptonshire.
The above space has been created by removing a dividing wall between a small galley kitchen and dining room, in a bungalow in Rushton. This enhanced the feeling of light to the space, which, previously, had been 2 very dark rooms. The space created was taken back to bare walls, new electrics, plumbing, and plastering provided a new ‘blank canvas’ to start from. New hardwood iroko windows and sliding doors were installed. A high quality solid marble floor was laid, and then a modern kitchen installed. The kitchen surface is a light quartz top. The customer chose all their own appliances, which were fitted in conjunction with the kitchen units. New downlights throughout the space, and bespoke ‘concrete’ island lights provided the kitchen with even more light.
